GPS Intervention
Introduction
As part of the monitoring and management of technical interventions related to the installation or maintenance of GPS devices, Digiparc offers a dedicated feature through the Backoffice GPS > Intervention Requests menu. This tool allows teams to plan, assign, track, and close technical intervention requests in a structured and streamlined manner.
This documentation provides a detailed walkthrough of the entire process, from the creation of an intervention request to its closure by the technician via the Digiparc mobile app.
When a client expresses a need for GPS device installation or inspection, the technical coordinator registers the request in the Backoffice GPS > Intervention Requests interface.
Search Filters
Before adding a new request, the interface allows filtering of existing interventions using the following criteria:
- Client
- Vehicle
- Technician
- Status: In Progress or Closed

Technician Processing the Intervention (Mobile App)
Once the request is assigned, the technician receives it in the Digiparc mobile application. They can view all relevant information needed to perform the intervention.
Viewing the Request
In the mobile app:
- The technician sees a list of all assigned interventions.
- Each request includes: client name, location, date, intervention types, and any associated comments.
Starting the Intervention
The technician visits the client and begins the GPS device installation.
Scan GPS Device IMEI
- This step is mandatory.
- The IMEI is automatically retrieved after the scan.
Scan SIM Card Phone Number:
- This automatically fills the field, avoiding manual entry.
Select GPS Device Model:

- The technician chooses the brand/model from a predefined list.
Add Vehicle:

Once all required fields are completed and validated, the technician clicks "Save".
