Upgrading the DIGIPARC development environment
DIGISOFT supports developments and updates its software development environment; the transition to version 2012 of Visual Studio reflects the current concerns of the development world with regard to mobility, performance and integrated programming.
Like the old versions of Visual Studio, this edition allowed our team to flourish in the development of DIGIPARC and bring many added values:
Speed of compilation: by reducing the time allocated by developers in compiling the code,
Compatibility with internet browsers, DIGIPARC can now be used on the majority of browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari,
Improved reporting: Visual Studio 2012 also allows the transition to Crystal Report Version 13, this tool has considerably improved the quality of reports on DIGIPARC in terms of ergonomics and ease of exporting data to Excel,
The framework 4.0 object of this version of Visual Studio makes it possible to encrypt ViewStates which constitute a mechanism for storing hidden fields, something not recommended in the development environment and which was not taken into account in older versions,
Performance and optimization of response time, new approaches have been implemented on DIGIPARC namely Bundling and Minification, these are two techniques that have further optimized the response time of our solutions, felt in the new versions installed for our customers,
Responsive design: the functionalities offered by Visual Studio 2012 make it possible to come closer to modern web standards, DIGIPARC will, ultimately, be adaptable with all mobile terminals: iOS, Android and MICROSOFT.
