Journeys
Introduction
The interfaceTrip Reportoffers detailed monitoring of journeys made by fleet vehicles. It makes it possible to identify the travel periods, the distance traveled, and the final destination of each journey. This module plays a central role in thevehicle performance analysisand theoptimization of travel management.
Purpose of the Interface
The interface aims to:
- Trace journey historycarried out by vehicles.
- Ensuretraceability of movements with precise granularity(start, end, duration and distance).
- Facilitatedata exportfor deeper analysis and informed decision-making.
Definition of a Journey
A journey istriggeredwhen:
- The vehicleenters “on” mode(engine started).
- He travels through apredefined minimum distance(e.g. 10 meters).
- The end of the journey isrecorded when the vehicle stopsand goes into “off” mode.
Noticed: Starting and stopping without exceeding the defined minimum distance are notnot counted as a trip, in order to avoid recording insignificant movements (e.g. movements in a parking lot).
Search Filter
The interface allows you tofilter tripsbased on the following criteria:
- Start date: Example – 15/10/2024 00:00
- End date: Example – 15/10/2024 23:59
- Vehicle group: Select a group of vehicles from the fleet.
- vehicle: Choice of vehicle(s) to analyze.
Structure of the Trip Table
The table displays detailed information on each trip made by the selected vehicles:
- vehicle: Vehicle registration or identifier.
- Collaborator: Name of the driver associated with the trip.
- Start date: Timestamp of the start of the journey.
- End date: Timestamp of the end of the journey.
- Duration: Total journey time (in hours and minutes).
- Km start: Mileage at the start of the journey.
- End km: Mileage at the end of the trip.
- Distance km: Total distance traveled during the trip (in kilometers).
- Destination: Automatically generated postal addressfrom the GPS coordinates of the place of arrival.
Key Features
-
Data Export:
The interface allows the export of journeys recorded inPDF and Excel formats, facilitators:- The production ofmonitoring reports.
- Archiving andcommunication of journeys to managers.
-
Automatic Generation of Destinations:
The “Destination” column displaysthe exact postal addressof the place where the journey ended, by exploiting thereal-time GPS data.
Benefits and Use
- Fleet management optimization: Identify relevant journeys and ignore events without significant travel.
- Detailed driver tracking: View the distances traveled and travel times for each employee.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor the efficiency of routes and adjust logistics plans if necessary.
- Destination Control: Ensure that vehicles reach the expected locations, thanks to the automatic generation of destination addresses.
Conclusion
The interfaceTrip Reportis essential for aefficient travel managementfleet vehicles. Thanks to its advanced filter andautomatic recording system based on a distance threshold, it allowsfocus on significant journeys. Furthermore, hisPDF and Excel export featuresfacilitate analysis and rapid decision-making.
