Understanding the Export of Customer Drafts
Exporting customer drafts involves extracting the data stored in the system as a file, generally in Excel (.xlsx) format, for offline use. This includes information like draft number, due date, customer, bank, and other details, making it easy to share with other departments (like accounting or audit) or analyze in external tools. The interface provides intuitive icons to initiate this export, with a refresh option to ensure up-to-date data.
Steps to Export Customer Drafts
Here is a detailed and structured explanation of the steps to follow to export customer drafts, based on the interface observed:
Access the Customer Transactions Section:
- Go to the “Customer transactions” section of the financial management module. This section displays a detailed list of drafts, including information such as draft number, due date, client, bank, etc.
Verify Data (Optional):
- Before exporting, it is recommended to ensure that the data displayed is up to date. To do this, click on the refresh icon (represented by a blue circle). This action updates the draft list and ensures that you are working with the most recent information. Although not required, this step is a good practice, especially if recent changes have been made.
- Click on the Excel icon to initiate the export process. This action will automatically generate a file in Excel format (.xlsx) containing the customer draft data visible in the list (after application of filters, if applicable).
Download File:
- Once the export is started, the system will allow you to download the generated Excel file. You can save it to your computer or any other device for later use. The file will probably be named automatically, for example, "Traites_Clients_Export_20250319.xlsx", and will download to the default downloads folder.
