Customer payment filter
TEACustomer Payments Filteris a feature integrated into the "Customer Payments" interface, allowing users to sort and search recorded payments according to different criteria such as payment date, amount, or customer name. This filtering system is designed to optimize payment management by facilitating the rapid identification of specific transactions, which is particularly useful for tracking receivables and resolving late payments.
Filter Components
The filter panel offers several fields allowing you to personalize the display of regulations. Here is a detailed description of each visible field:
To research:
- Role :Allows a keyword search of all payment data (for example, payment number, customer name, or invoice number).
- Appearance:Empty text field by default.
- Function:Filters regulations containing the entered text (for example, type "RC1772" to find that specific regulation).
Invoice number:
- Role :Allows you to filter payments associated with a specific invoice by its number.
- Appearance:Empty text field by default.
- Function:Shows only payments related to the entered invoice (for example, "40-2025" to see associated payments).
Year:
- Role :Allows you to sort regulations by year.
- Appearance:Drop-down menu pre-populated with "2025" by default, offering other years available.
- Function:Limits the display to payments made during the selected year (for example, all payments from 2025).
Month:
- Role :Allows you to sort payments by month.
- Appearance:Drop-down menu pre-populated with "January" by default, offering other months of the selected year.
- Function:Shows only the settlements for the chosen month (for example, all settlements from January 2025).
Payment type:
- Role :Allows you to filter payments by payment method.
- Appearance:Drop-down menu showing "Choose" by default, with options like "Transfer", "Draft", or "Cheque".
- Function:Displays payments made according to the selected method (for example, only transfers).
Customer:
- Role :Allows you to filter payments by customer.
- Appearance:Drop-down menu showing "Choose" by default, offering a list of registered customers.
- Function:Shows only the payments associated with the selected customer (for example, "CTT" or "SOMIFER").
Status:
- Role :Allows you to sort payments by their status (for example, Closed, In Progress).
- Appearance:Drop-down menu showing "Choose" by default.
- Function:Displays the payments corresponding to the chosen status (for example, only “Closed” payments).
Functioning
- Access:Click on the icon“Filtered”to open the filter panel.
Entering the Criteria:Complete one or more fields as needed. For example :
- Enter an invoice number in "Invoice number" to see related payments.
- Select "2025" in "Year" and "January" in "Month" to limit to January 2025.
- Choose "Transfer" in "Payment Type" to filter payments by transfer.
- Application of the Filter:Once the criteria are defined, validate (probably via an "Apply" button or automatically after selection). The regulations table updates to only display regulations that match the criteria.
- Reset:To cancel filters and view all regulations, there is likely to be a "Reset" button or similar option available.
