Import Schedules
The Time Index Import feature allows you to add multiple time index records to your database at once by uploading a pre-formatted file, usually in Excel format. This option is particularly useful for:
- The initial addition of a large number of time indexes for different vehicles.
- Massive updating of information on vehicle hours of use.
Step 1: Download and prepare the canvas
Download the canvas: A template file is available for download and should be used to prepare the data. This file follows a precise format with predefined columns.
Respect the order of the columns :
- Required fields, such as vehicle, date, hour meter, and user, are marked in red.
- It is essential to maintain the specified column order to ensure a successful import.
Tips for preparing the file :
- Only one value per cell.
- No blank lines.
- Compliance with date and time formats (dd/mm/yyyy hh).
Prerequisites: The file must be structured according to the system specifications, with the mandatory information (Vehicle, Date, Hour meter, and User).
Step 2: Load the file
Once the file is completed, proceed as follows:
- Click "Browse" to select your file.
- Tap “Next” to start loading.
- A summary will appear, indicating the number of lines imported as well as the total lines in the file.
Step 3: Check the imported data
After loading the file:
- A summary table of the imported records is displayed.
- The system also reports the number of possible errors and the number of valid records.
- Details for each record (Vehicle, Date, Hourmeter, User) are visible for final verification before import.
Step 4: Import time indexes
After checking the data:
- Click "Import" to validate and add the time indexes to the database.
- A confirmation message will inform you of the successful import.
