PPE import

The Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) import functionality considerably simplifies the mass integration of data into the system. Using a pre-formatted file, users can import multiple records simultaneously, making PPE management faster and more efficient.

Step 1: Download and Prepare the Canvas

Model download:
Download a template file, usually in Excel format, to organize PPE information in a structured way.

Respect of columns:
The file contains predefined columns corresponding to the following information:

• Wording: Name or description of the equipment (e.g.: helmet, vest).
• Collaborator: Name and first name of the beneficiary of the PPE.
• Registration number: Unique identifier of the employee.
• Date: Date of allocation of PPE.
• End date: Expected end of use date.
• Amount excluding tax / tax included: Cost of PPE excluding taxes and all taxes included.
• Attachment: Related documents, such as an invoice or receipt.
• User: Identity of the user who added or modified the record.

1. Required fields:
   Fields likewording, collaborator, registration number, Anddateare mandatory to ensure successful integration.

Step 2: Load File

• File selection:
  Click the buttonBrowseto select the Excel file containing the PPE information.

• Loading the file:
  Once the file is selected, clickFollowingto charge it. A summary shows the number of records processed and the total number of lines in the file.

Step 3: Verify Imported Data

• Data control:
  After loading, a summary table displays the imported records, indicating valid data and any errors.

• Validation of records:
  The system identifies missing or invalid fields for correction.

Step 4: Import the Equipment

1. Finalizing the import:
   Click onImportto validate data and integrate PPE into the system.

2. Import confirmation:
   A message confirms the successful import, and the data is now available in the database for consultation or modification.
